The warlock nearly forgot his spell right there, but managed to break the curtain of terror and spit three words in quick succession. His fist flared brightly and the troll stumbled mid-step at the sudden swell of light before letting out a surprised hoot. The warlock felt the pulse of magic and the gelatinous ball of green shot from his hand like an arror of acid. It speared into the troll's chest, spreading with a splash before searing through its skeleton and erupting out through its back in a grotesque spray of eerie green light and gore. Continue reading →
